My approach to athletic photography centers around capturing precise moments of action that feel both emotionally charged and visually intentional. I am drawn to the storytelling within sports; the intensity, movement, and split-second emotion, but also to the quietness a photograph can hold when every element within the frame feels cohesive. Composition plays a major role in my work, and I prioritize removing distractions and unnecessary background noise, so the viewer’s attention remains entirely on the moment itself. Through timing, framing, and visual balance, I aim to create images that feel immersive, focused, and instinctively clear in their narrative.
Through my work in athletic photography, I document collegiate sports with a focus on energy, movement, and visual storytelling. As a photographer for Marist Athletics, my images have been used across a range of editorial, promotional, and athletic media platforms, including The Circle, Center Field, collegiate athletics articles, and graphics for multiple athletic programs such as Rider University, United States Naval Academy, and Merrimack College. My work combines technical precision with an editorial approach, capturing both the intensity of competition and the atmosphere surrounding collegiate athletics.
